This site provides a facility for online applications for APRIL International Expat insurance cover.
By accessing this site, you accept the terms and conditions and agree to adhere to them.

The following conditions must be met before your application for insurance from APRIL International Expat can be processed entirely online.
If you do not meet one of the conditions, we will contact you to discuss your application further.
You may, at any time during the application process or during your period of insurance with APRIL International Expat, contact one of our advisors by telephone on +33 (0)1 73 02 93 93 Monday to Thursday from 8.30 to 18.00 and from 8.30 to 17.30 on Friday, Paris time. They will be pleased to answer any questions you may have.

Online application procedure
In order to apply for APRIL International Expat insurance cover online, you must be over the age of 18.
When you ask for a quote or apply online, we will need to obtain a number of personal details in order to process your request.

The role of APRIL International Expat
APRIL International Expat is an insurance intermediary, registered with ORIAS under number 07 008 000 operating as a broker. This information is available on the ORIAS website (www.orias.fr).
APRIL International Expat operates under the terms of article L520-1-II of the French insurance code. By visiting the site “www.aprilmobilite.com” you have expressed an interest in an APRIL International Expat insurance product. APRIL International Expat's role consists in recommending the policy and level of cover best suited to your situation and your needs. You may of course select any level of cover you choose.

Information provided
The information you are asked to provide in the questionnaires is essential in order to assess your situation. If accepted, the insurance policy is based on the information provided.  It is therefore important that you respond very carefully to the various questions you are asked as any non-disclosure, omission or false declaration will invalidate your application or bring about the cancellation of or reduction in your insurance cover under articles L113-8 and L113-9 of the French Insurance Code.

Payment
Your application for insurance cover from APRIL International Expat is subject to the online payment of the first premium and, where applicable, the membership fees. This payment is made online by bank card.
Subsequent payments (where applicable) are made by direct debit from the bank account the details of which were provided by the member at the time of application, by bank card, by cheque or by bank transfer in accordance with the payment schedule selected.

Security, confidentiality, integrity
The bank details you provide are protected by the system of encryption SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). When you enter secure mode, the symbol will appear on your screen. Your online payment is therefore secure. When you enter your card number and its expiry date, this information is coded. Your card details are not sent over the web in this format as they are encrypted. 
Remember: the regulations governing the use of bank cards require French banks to cover the risk of your card being used fraudulently. If you think your card has been misused in this way you should notify your bank or your card provider immediately.

Confirmation of your application
Your insurance cover is confirmed by a membership certificate which you will receive by email once your application is complete.
A membership pack including the following documents will be sent by email a few minutes following completion of your online application:
- Final Membership certificate and the General Conditions of your policy.
- Application form and health questionnaire (where applicable) containing the information you provided online. These documents should be signed and returned to us.
- If you are paying in monthly instalments, you will also receive a direct debit authorisation form containing the information you provided online. This document should be signed and returned to us.
You should print out these documents as no further copies will be provided.
The start date of your policy is shown on the Membership certificate.

Email address
By providing APRIL International Expat with your email address on the online application form you agree to information on your policy being sent to this address. You may, at any time and in writing, request APRIL International Expat to stop sending emails to this address. You may also do this by replying to an email you have received.

Right to cancel and procedure
You may cancel your application by registered letter with proof of delivery to APRIL International Expat: Service Adhésion - 110, avenue de la République - CS 51108 - 75127 Paris CEDEX 11 - FRANCE within 14 days of the date of issue of the Membership certificate and the general conditions and policy booklet, on paper or by any other durable means.
Cover ceases on the date of receipt of the letter of cancellation and APRIL International Expat will reimburse any premiums already paid with the exception of those corresponding to the period of cover already passed. 
To cancel your policy, please word your letter as follows:

Making a complaint
