  • Gan Eurocourtage:  France’s third largest insurer operating in the broking market.
    In July 1998, the merger of Gan and Groupama created the second largest general insurance company in the French marketplace.
    In 2008, Gan Eurocourtage’s turnover was €1,488 million with around 900 employees.
    Groupama and main subsidiaries Standard & Poor’s 2008 rating: A+.
  • Quatrem: France’s fifth largest group insurance provider.
    In 2009, Quatrem’s turnover was €1,223 million with 502 employees.
  • Axéria Prévoyance: a French mixed insurance company specialising in personal insurance, insuring risks in the fields of health, individual and group death and disability cover and loan insurance.
    A subsidiary of the APRIL GROUP, Axéria Prévoyance’s turnover was €295 million in 2008.

For repatriation assistance:

  • Axa Assistance: a private group handling over 8 million cases every year.
    In 2009, Axa Assistance’s turnover was €882 million with 6,140 staff worldwide.
    Standard & Poor’s rating: AA-.
  • ACE Europe: a branch of ACE European Group with turnover of 19 billion dollars in 2008 and 15,000 employees in 50 countries.
